Questions & Answers
Q :
why such lousy after sales service at wayfair??
A :
Obviously their mission to become popular has worked. They don't need to be a good company anymore. They will take the money and run. When the time is right, they will close up shop and reopen with a new name. It is hard to find a business with integrity anymore.

Q :
hi i want to know about wayfair review. m very confused with the reviews
A :
It took them WEEKS to arrange for a return of the first sleeper sofa I purchased which was the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I ever sat on or slept on. Then, they lost the first replacement sofa "in transit" and it took another several weeks for delivery. This doesn't even address the fact that it took nearly a month to get delivery on an item that was supposedly "in-Stock" STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

Stay away. They do not follow up to make things right concerning your order.

Q :
As I see some customers got damaged or not as good quality delivery in that case does wayfair takes responsibility for replacing and what about returning shipping charges?
A :
I can't tell you what there policy is about damaged goods but if they describe it wrong, the color is not right or it is not the quality you feel made it a good buy then you will be stuck with paying the return postage. HORRIBLE POLICY! They use the excuse of using drop shipping vendors, but I don't see how that is part of the equation. I'm buying from Wayfair (we'll never again) they need to accept responsibility. Just stay away from them. Notice they never respond to this criticism, maybe it's because there is no good response. STAY AWAY FROM WAYFAIR. FAR AWAY.

A :
I received a damaged chaise sofa. I called Wayfair customer service while the delivery guys were still here. The person I spoke to apologized, immediately set up a replacement to be shipped out and told me to go ahead and use the damaged one until the new one arrived. The 2nd one arrived in perfect condition.

A :
Wayfair has been excellent. They usually don't want the defective product back but they replace products that are damaged or sent in error. I have only had great service by Wayfair especially if there are any issues.

Hi are you able to tell me if your product was noticeable when arrived. Meaning did it say what it was on packaging, or any pictures on outside? I am trying to do as a Christmas gift but would like for him to not know what it is. Please help, thank you
A :
My endtable was marked. They seem very accommodating and may put your package in an unmarked package.

Q :
I ordered a chair and I am waiting for it to be delivered - now I see its almost $100 less - will they honor the price?
A :
Need to call Customer Service ( a/k/a Customer Disservice) about any issue. Expect to be disappointed, but they may honor it. Best to avoid Wayfair in the future.

Q :
We are building a new home. When should I order furniture so that it arrives soon after we move in? In other words, how long does it take to ship large pieces of furniture?
A :
I also moved & ordered furniture after moving, and this is what I recommend: - -1-Read reviews, and take measurements. You do not want to have to return a dining room table, and you don't want to order table lamps unless you know the height lamp you need. -2- Decide what you want, and put it on a list you make on their site. (You may want to have "backups" in case they aren't in stock when you order) -3-Don't be in a hurry; you'll end up buying things that you don't like, want, or need. I highly recommend calling Wayfair's Customer Service (or "CHAT") about delivery dates. My experiences with Wayfair have been very positive, and I ordered A LOT from them. I've ordered from Hayneedle, Pottery Barn, and Overstock, and Wayfair was easier and faster (and cheaper for similar items.)

A :
Talk to a live person at their customer service. Their delivery times are spotty at best. Get the name of the person you talk to and obtain a commitment from them. If they won't give you absolute dates, get whatever you need somewhere else. They talk a good story, but most folks I've seen review their response and on-time delivery have not had a good experience. I doubt that I'll ever order anything else from them.

I had a great experience with Wayfair (very prompt delivery) in Florida and so did my friend in California... in fact, her piece was delivered within 36 hours. As others have suggested, I would call Wayfair directly and let them know your preferred delivery dates.

Q :
I am ordering a sofa. Does someone need to be home to receive the delivery? If so, can I select when it will delivered?
A :
Suggest calling Customer Service aka Customer disservice. A word of advice: buy elsewhere; anywhere else. This Co. Just does not care.

A :
Yes, I recommend someone be there to let them deliver the items in your home if that is what you paid for or what was offered. Some items dont qualify for free entryway delivery unless you pay for it checkout but youll be able to see that when you select your items. They do an excellent job of notifying you via email and then the delivery service will call you to set up a good day and time for you. They were on time in the time window they gave me as well... hope that helps!

Yes someone needs to be there for delivery. You can set up a time frame for the delivery. They did a great job of notifying me by email and by phone when my item arrived. There were no problems at all. I will order again from this company

Q :
I lost the address to ship back an item. Can you provide me with the address? Thank you in advance for the help!
A :
I went on the website to find a return address. Nothing. More baloney from this company. Here is the website, but I think that calling will help. http://www.wayfair.com/customerservice/returns_and_damage.php

Call customer service (aka customer disservice). This company should be avoided. Deal with a reputable Co like Amazon or its partners, They care.

Q :
How do I exchange an item?
A :
Exact same thing happened to me as many others, the price online said. 51 per sq ft, and it said this for at least four days on both the list screen and the screen where you would place your order. When I clicked on it today to put in my order (where the list screen still said. 51/sq ft and regular price that was "discounted" was. 95, suddenly it started coming up in the cart as $5.88/sq ft. When I called to ask about it, Sadie verified she could see it being offered for. 51, but she "had to honor the price in cart." What are you honoring exactly? To use the term "honor" means you are honoring the price you have listed. Thanks for honoring that I could pay 5.37 more, I appreciate it, but no thanks. When you see you are advertising a price, you should "honor" it. She said sorry, that wouldn't help them make a profit, really she said this. I will not be doing business with Wayfair again and would advise everyone to double and triple check before you order, they may jack up the price on you at the very last second then try to convince you they are doing you a favor by charging you over 500% more.

Call customer service. They say they will email you but I suggest you insist on that. Had a lot of miscommunication between their reps. Each seemed competent but process were awful

Q :
HI, I would like to order 3 items (Dinning set, TV unit and Buffet cabinet). Please let me know whether I have to pay separate shipping charge for each item.
A :
I wouldn't order anything big from Wayfair. I had to order the same product 3 times, and each time, the product was damaged. Wayfair rhymes with nightmare for a reason.

I wanted to return a damaged product. It was difficult to contact customer service, but when I got through, they were polite. However, they wanted me to use the box it was shipped in and they deduct shipping charges from your refund. This is outrageous, since they shipped a defective product in the first place.

I have ordered a recliner and a fireplace from Wayfair and it was free shipping. They only took a week to arrive and no damage. I go to Wayfair first for all my shopping. I love them.
